Good-bye, AndreI was helping him walk to the shores of afterlife; he was small, and stopped often to catch his breath. I waited patiently, his guide, until he was ready to move forward again.Good-bye, Andre
Perhaps he was saying goodbye to things that most people fail to experience altogether; a fluer de lis on the architectural molding or the sound of the wind moving through the long, airy corridor.
When we reached the shore, I asked him what he would miss the most, and I shared with him what I would miss; the sound of water as it ran against the smooth stones on the shore, the sun and the moon, the smallest mouse on its quest for glory.
